Abide With Me
a story of two pandemics
A play written and directed by Kate Rossiter.
Based on material from the Brantford General School of Nursing archives, the play counterpoints the 1918 Influenza Pandemic with recent outbreaks of SARS and H1N1.
This production was produced in association with Laurier University as part of Summer Stage 2010. Located in an old patient ward at the Brantford General Hospital and based on the experience of nurses and physicians, this was a work-in-progress, research-based play with a post-show facilitated feedback session.
