Winning Mabel
Winning Mabel, written by Douglas V. Lintula, was originally workshopped during the spring of 2004 by BTW and was performed at various locations including the Cobblestone Festival that year with the Brantford Expositor referring to it as the "pick of the festival".
This charming play based on the actual letters of Alec Bell and Mabel Hubbard counterpoints their growing romantic relationship with the exciting discovery of the telephone.
The production returned as part of Summer Stage 2010 culminating with a performance at the Edwardian Picnic on the 100th Anniversary of the Bell Homestead.
